As I am the LAST full time internally hand carved acrylic artist in the USA I feel the need to both educate folks about this medium and keep it alive. To that end I have traveled across the nation displaying and selling my art/craft. I started with a love of the process of creating unique special one of a kind pieces geared specifically to my customer's needs. It takes hand strength and accuracy to carve out the designs inside clear acrylic shapes. I work entirely in clear acrylic that I have fashioned into many shapes. The medium of acrylic allows for very deep cutting inside without shattering like glass would. So I can get a very nice 3D life-like designs. The dyes are a formulation of my own making.
I like to use LED lighting to enhance and emphasize the fine detail I have created in my designs as well as add shadows and highlights to the 3D carvings.
My creations are meant to be functional and meaningful.
My inspiration comes from life itself. Those special significant moments we all want and need to remember. The birth of a child. Wedding, graduation, shared holidays, our furry family members and memorials of those loved ones who have passed.
My offerings are night lights, ornaments , wedding gifts and cake toppers, baby announcements, lighted solar garden and cemetery stakes, and more.
